2024 Year-in-Review

Seasons Greetings!

One of the most potent rituals I have brought into my life over the last few years is a year-in-review to reflect on all of the highlights of the year, celebrate the wins, release what no longer serves me, visualize my dreams, and set clear intentions for the next ring around the Sun. I highly recommend this ritual to everyone. It grounds me in gratitude for the simple things in life, empowering me and broadening my vision of what is possible when I put my heart and soul into it.

2024 was, amazingly, the 20th year of my music career which seemingly passed by without any fanfare, as it was a slower year for me with touring due to my caregiving obligations. However, I continued spreading the ministry of this music by making my debut appearance in Ojai CA for an Ecstatic Dance and YouMeWe Circlesinging event thanks to the incredible stewardship of Meredith Sands Keator. I was blessed with the opportunity to be invited to headline 3 festivals; Dragonfly Fest in Austin TX thanks to Al Jameson and AY WA, The OM Festival in Arlington VT thanks to Samantha Grout reuniting me with my dear Brother Gershone Hendelberg, and making so many new soul family connections, and then Sol Harmony Fest in Charlotte NC (that I, unfortunately, had to cancel my appearance at due to travel complications from Hurricane Helene). I got the profound honor to return to play at one of my all-time favorite Ecstatic Dances in Salt Lake City at Ecstatic Dance Salt Lake City thanks to Inderamrit Dhillon, Evan, and Suzanne Andreasen. I then went on a mini-Northeast tour and debuted in 3 cities; Richmond VA, New Haven CT, and Burlington VT, where I got to visit the venue Nectar's, home to the most delicious gravy fries, and the venue that helped my favorite band Phish get their sea legs!

I also had the biggest music release of my career; “Into The Now” and its Drum and Bass Remix alongside my dear brother and music producer Uprise/Paul Knight. I also saw major increases in listeners and streams across all streaming services.

This Fall, I started offering monthly live streams called LIVE@HOME, which have been growing in attendance. We have been building a beautiful community of regulars who drop in virtually and connect through the power of music. I also started a new offering called ‘Song For Your Life’, which is slowly growing into a profound offering in service to providing a soundtrack to life for those called to it.

My vision and intention have grown stronger and clearer to what I want to accomplish while I still get to “breathe here now” on Planet Earth with all of y’all.

Of course, underneath and around all of this was my continued service to my Mother as her caregiver. The hardest, most challenging, and yet most fulfilling job I have ever had. It’s been a tough year having to witness her struggle with this new chapter of her life, yet around every corner, there are bright shimmering glimmers of magic and merriment that reveal themselves amidst overflowing laundry baskets, burnt dinners, and arriving late to appointments. There are the sweetest moments of connection that penetrate the time-space continuum. Birthing memories of a love so precious.

Last but not least, my deepening love for my one and only, Loni Dinwiddie. We shared so many beautiful moments together exploring the many facets of our growing love this year. I am so thrilled I get to walk by her side on this journey of life.

Tomorrow night is my last show of 2024. It is going to be very special. I hope y’all join me on the virtual dance floor for my LIVE@HOME live-stream concert!
