The Grape Fair total Event experience
~Tasting competition with Juried and People's Choice awards. ~Pairing Guide with varietals and foods available for a rich, full tasting experience featured in the event program. ~Meet the wine maker, an opportunity for each winery to showcase their winemaker in the program and if desired, in person, at the event. We believe it is important for the community to know their farmer, their grocer, their cheesemaker, their chocolatier and of course their winemaker. ~Will call for purchases at the event so customers will have no reservations about buying a case (or 2...) of wine. ~Rogue Valley Tasting cards that bring people to the tasting rooms after the event and create collaborative a revenue source for both the Talent Chamber and the participating wineries, while encouraging experienced and budding wine lovers to go out and explore the wineries of the region. ~Volunteer Dinner at EdenVale Winery featuring wine tasting and education for the volunteers. This will give the volunteers on site at the event an extra edge and confidence in engagement, increasing customer satisfaction and spending. ~Program Guide featuring a full AVA map, wineries listings, the pairing guide, tasting notes and contact information for all featured vendors. This gives each guest a take away with notes and highlights, encouraging wine excursions and purchases throughout the year. ~Plein Air Art & Photography Competition where artists pickup a clean canvas Saturday morning and return that afternoon with a completed work of vineyard inspired art, matted and framed for competition at the Fair. ~Bike Chata Bike Ride (www.bikechata.com) is 20 mile bike race and a 4 mile family ride, starting at 9am that finishes in the heart of the fair. The 20 mile route will take you past beautiful vineyards and incorporates part of the original 1991 Bike Chata ride. ~Fun Local Live Music line-up on a full stage, to keep everyone rocking and dancing throughout the fair!
