Cornflower to play Peace Village Festival!
5 years ago, a group of people came together in the Rogue Valley with the intention of creating a gathering focused on community and uniting our valley as a true Village of Peace. Here we are, present day, it has evolved into this amazing local music, art and healing festival called Peace Village Festival. I am honored, for the 5th year in a row, to be a part of this great event. I invite you to buy a weekend pass so you may come and have the full experience. A beautiful setting, at a beautiful time of year with lots of amazing people ready to raise the vibe and ground it within their beings! From the Peace Village Festival website: "This year’s theme is… Convergence: onward into 2012." "Jackson WellSprings is the idyllic setting for Peace Village Festival 2011, from 12noon – 11pm on Friday and Saturday, and from 12noon – 10:30pm on Sunday, with its Camping and Spa use available for low additional fees. This year’s 5th annual event also features an Artisans’ Village with amazing crafts and imports, Kid Village, our Healing Sanctuary where you can experience the work of local masseuses and healers, and a Visionary Arts Exhibition. In addition there will be dynamic speakers and workshops, plus yoga and movement classes. The focus is on embracing inner and outer peace and the village model in all aspects of life and community, as well as on sustainability, health, community, re-localization, celebration, and on youth and elders."
